Mountain Creamery, where everything starts from scratch, is famous for Vermont country breakfasts offering items such as buttermilk pancakes, French toast, mouthwatering waffles and high quality meats including locally smoked bacon and ham.  Our corned beef hash is ground and seasoned in our kitchen.  Homemade muffins, scones, coffee cake and a variety of pastries round out the breakfast menu.

Join us for lunch and enjoy homemade soups and a wide selection of sandwiches including hand carved turkey, Reubens, tuna melts, whole wheat bread piled high with veggies or the best grilled cheese ever. Sides include homemade potato salad, cole slaw or organic apple sauce.  Chef's salad and house salad are always on the lunch menu

Boris and Sheila Pilsmaker opened Mountain Creamery on January 11, 1987. They have also owned and operated Hinterland Farm in Killington, Vermont since 1998.  Our farm to restaurant connection ensures a unique Vermont experience. Roast beef, hamburgers and barbecue brisket are some of the many offerings "from the farm."   Organic mixed baby greens with farm fresh tomatoes and local mozzarella are a summer salad "farm special."

Desserts are available all day and a specialty is our small batch ice cream, made on site with only the finest ingredients.  Our mile high apple pie with 3 lbs of local apples may be enjoyed with ice cream or Cabot cheddar cheese, a Vermont tradition.  Seasonal pies, cookies, brownies & bars along with old fashioned ice cream parlor specialties are famous.
